The Coosa, the creeks and older homes.
Gadsden is the Etowah County seat, built up on both sides of the Coosa River.
We come out to Alabama City, downtown and the Turrentine Historic District.
We also cover Little Wills Valley and the streets near Gadsden Mall.
Noccalula Falls drops into Black Creek Gorge inside the city.
About half the homes were built before 1960, which is older than in most nearby towns.
Old supply lines, tired roofs and crawlspaces give water plenty of ways in.

Weather and water
Wet winters on the Coosa.
Gadsden gets close to 58 inches of rain a year, and January is the wettest month.
The Coosa runs through town, and Lake Neely Henry sits downstream.
Big Wills Creek joins the Coosa here, and Lookout Mountain rises north of the city center.
An F4 tornado hit Etowah County on Palm Sunday in 1994, so storms here are real.

I woke up one morning to water pouring into my basement. Josh and his team were there within minutes and began the tear out. Felt like it took them all of 5 minutes to tear out 3 bathrooms and and entire basement floor to ceiling. Fast efficient and extremely professional. Josh answered any and every question I had with kindness and a lot of patience. I pray this doesn’t happen again but if it does, I will always call Josh at Alabama Quality Restoration. I highly recommend him over and over again.
Josh is a great guy to do business with. He is very responsive, communicative, and trustworthy when it comes to mold remedy, home repairs, or anything you may need. He is a great worker and does great work with everything he does. If you’re needing a contractor to complete any type of job - Josh is the man for it. You won’t be disappointed. 10/10 recommend.
