March is the wettest month, and September is the driest.
Choccolocco Creek drains a large watershed across Calhoun, Talladega and Cleburne counties.
Oxford sits in the foothills at the southern end of the Blue Ridge.
Talladega National Forest runs along much of the southern edge of the city.
Heavy rain finds the weak spots in a roof, a crawlspace or a window seal.

I woke up one morning to water pouring into my basement. Josh and his team were there within minutes and began the tear out. Felt like it took them all of 5 minutes to tear out 3 bathrooms and and entire basement floor to ceiling. Fast efficient and extremely professional. Josh answered any and every question I had with kindness and a lot of patience. I pray this doesn’t happen again but if it does, I will always call Josh at Alabama Quality Restoration. I highly recommend him over and over again.
Josh is a great guy to do business with. He is very responsive, communicative, and trustworthy when it comes to mold remedy, home repairs, or anything you may need. He is a great worker and does great work with everything he does. If you’re needing a contractor to complete any type of job - Josh is the man for it. You won’t be disappointed. 10/10 recommend.
