Water Damage Restoration

Water keeps moving. So do we.

Water does not stay where it lands.

It wicks up drywall, soaks into the subfloor and settles in the crawlspace.

The longer it sits, the more of your house it reaches.

We get the standing water out, open up what is wet, and dry the framing, not just the surface.

Then we rebuild it, so you are not chasing a second contractor.

When to call

Call us when you see this.

Any one of these is worth a call to (256) 624-8206. We answer 24 hours.

  1. Water on the floor

A burst pipe, a failed water heater or a washer hose. Shut the water off, then call.

  2. A stain that keeps growing

Brown rings on a ceiling or wall mean water is still getting in somewhere.

  3. Soft or cupped floors

Hardwood that cups or a subfloor that gives underfoot is holding water.

  4. A wet basement or crawlspace

Standing water under the house rots joists and feeds mold if it stays.

  5. A musty smell

If a room smells damp after a leak, something behind the wall never dried.

How we handle it

How a water job goes.

Floor-drying mats taped down over hardwood next to the sofa

  1. 01

    You call, we come

    Call (256) 624-8206 any hour.

We come to the house, find the source and look at how far the water went.

  2. 02

    Water out

We pull the standing water and the soaked carpet and pad.

Anything we can save gets moved out of the way.

  3. 03

    Open it up

Wet drywall gets cut above the water line, so the wall cavity can breathe.

Baseboards come off and the subfloor gets checked.

  4. 04

    Dry it out

Air movers and dehumidifiers run until the framing and floors read dry.

Hardwood can be dried in place with floor-drying mats.

  5. 05

    Put it back

New drywall, mud, paint, trim and flooring.

We hand you back a finished room, not a gutted one.

Close to home

Basements, crawlspaces and the Coosa.

The Coosa runs through Gadsden and on down past Pell City.

Plenty of homes near it sit on crawlspaces or over basements.

Heavy rain finds those low spots first.

We work across Etowah, Calhoun, St. Clair and Talladega counties, day or night.

5 out of 5 stars

Had two major home repairs this week back to back. In a panic, I was able to call both times and got help right away. Josh came out and fixed both my issues quick and efficiently. Definitely takes pride in his work and does an amazing job. I went from my whole basement flooded, to everything back dry and repaired very quickly. Highly recommended using! A huge life saver to me!

5 out of 5 stars

I woke up one morning to water pouring into my basement. Josh and his team were there within minutes and began the tear out. Felt like it took them all of 5 minutes to tear out 3 bathrooms and and entire basement floor to ceiling. Fast efficient and extremely professional. Josh answered any and every question I had with kindness and a lot of patience. I pray this doesn’t happen again but if it does, I will always call Josh at Alabama Quality Restoration. I highly recommend him over and over again.
